We are at the dawn of Morpho's next chapter, and what better way to start it than with an upgraded brand identity fit for the future?

Morpho was born from a novel idea to improve DeFi rate markets by combining lending pools and peer-to-peer mechanisms. The unique design allows users to earn more and pay less while maintaining a familiar user experience. And with that, Optimizers emerged.

Optimizers have found notable success with over $850m in supplied assets, making Morpho the third-largest lending protocol on Ethereum in 10 months. The journey does not stop there.

The world of crypto, particularly DeFi, is constantly changing and pushing boundaries. Like the space it exists in, Morpho is also evolving.

To align with this metamorphosis, Morpho’s brand has been upgraded.

Look and Feel

A balance of minimalism and elegance.

The logo remains the same, but the colors are getting a refresh. After all, many appreciate it (including Apple judging by their latest journal app release).

The light version is now white instead of light blue. The dark version had a slight touch-up.

Morpho colors are changing too. Transitioning from a heavy navy palette to one that features white, black, and a vibrant splash of blue.

And finally, the illustrations. Those who have followed Morpho from the very beginning would be familiar with the doodle-like illustrations used on the website and social media communications. These have morphed into a more abstract concept. The metamorphosis imagery is still there but in a more subtle fashion.

Bringing it all together

How do the components come together? The new landing page serves as a perfect illustration. Each brand element blends into one minimal yet elegant interface.

In comparison to the previous landing page, which, while appealing, lacked stylistic alignment with Morpho’s future.

The same sleek feel will be translated into applications and other Morpho front-ends. The rollout will happen gradually and you can expect to see changes come into effect soon!

Values are unchanged

It is worth noting that the brand’s look and feel of maybe be changing, but Morpho’s core values remain the same.

• Resilient: Morpho prioritizes security and decentralization to ensure the safety and protection of user assets.

• Efficient: Morpho’s advanced mechanisms have unparalleled efficiency in the field of decentralized lending.

• Open: Morpho is an open primitive that anyone can use to lend and borrow assets onchain.

Morpho's purpose is to make finance a common good. It will do this by providing resilient, efficient, and open lending services for builders, crypto-native institutions, and individuals.
